Founded in 1993, Sightline Institute is committed to making the Northwest a global model of sustainability, with strong communities, a green economy, and a healthy environment. Sightline Institute is non-partisan and does not oppose, support, or endorse any political candidate or party.
Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County is about much more than building houses. It's about building affordable housing, strong neighborhoods, responsibility and pride. Neighborhood revitalization is our primary goal, one that unifies everything we do. We believe that creating a healthy, vital neighborhood with affordable housing, and sustainable housing, can only happen when volunteers and neighbors come together to build a community.
Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County builds new communities here in Western Washington and around the world through our commitment to global engagement. Habitat for Humanity is more than an organization that builds houses. We are a movement that brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

With programs that serve more than 15,000 people in the region each year, YWCA works where we're needed most to create real change every day. At the Center for Children & Youth Justice (CCYJ), we're changing the way young people experience the child welfare and juvenile justice systems-for the better. By listening to young people and working with partners across Washington State, we're helping to redesign our child welfare and juvenile justice systems to meet children and youth's unique needs. Every year we help improve the lives of 50,000 system-involved youth. By convening and partnering with parents, advocates, service providers and policymakers, CCYJ develops and advances innovative approaches to systemic change to support kids, stabilize families, and strengthen communities. We work to achieve research-based, data-driven, tangible outcomes for generations of youth.
League of Education Voters (LEV) was founded in 2001 by Washingtonians to support a system where every student in Washington state has access to an excellent public education that provides an equal opportunity for success. Working on behalf of students, LEV has successfully led the charge on many of the landmark funding and policy decisions helping improve the education landscape in Washington.
TAF Academy is a 6th-12th grade STEM-focused partner school formed in partnership with public school districts that prepare students for college and careers. One of our primary goals is to enlist students as active participants in their own education. When TAF Academy students graduate, they receive a diploma that meets all Washington State and district requirements, and are academically and culturally ready for college.
CHANGE THE WORLD FOR GOOD
Through experiential education, we take urgent issues and make them relevant to young people, shedding light on the power we all have to change to the world for good. This approach prepares the next generation of inspired environmental problem solvers to work together to make an exponential impact on the planet-now and in the future.
Our school programs reach more than 12,000 students every year at our 250-acre campus on Bainbridge Island, in Seattle neighborhoods, and at the King County Brightwater Wastewater Treatment Plant in Woodinville. In addition, we partner with teachers and schools across our region to provide curriculum, teacher professional development and support, and advocacy that helps connect classroom learning to real environmental issues in students' communities. Through our graduate program we are also preparing future educators ready to ignite change in our schools, communities, and planet.
